I actually love to cook and am really good at it (I also like to eat so it works out). I'm a computer whiz that's athletic, there's a paradox. I'm a skier that writes and copyrights songs. If I have the option to be outside doing something that is usually where I'll be. I also like to go boating and just hanging out and enjoying the summer in New England.

I am professor at a university in Boston. I am very content with my profession but I also have multiple interests that take me out of the library: travel, museums, restaurants, music, squash, swimming. Yes, I know that in most of my pictures (one should not ask for cheese in front of a camera) I look very serious, but I am not--I truly do laugh a lot, but I cannot pose with a smile. In one of the pictures I am surrounded by books (in my office), but I am very physically active and I think I still have a lot to learn about life. My father was a diplomat, so I grew up in some 11 countries which, in a way, has molded my personality. I am able to be at ease anywhere and and with any one, but have always longed for a home.
